State Kiwi Swim Safe
Do you want to acquire more knowledge or do you need more support to teach and develop your students’ swimming and survival skills?
In an increased bid to save lives, Swimming New Zealand has launched a comprehensive learn to swim programme into New Zealand primary and intermediate schools.
State Kiwi Swim Safe is a comprehensive programme designed with the support of State Insurance, SNZ’s principal sponsor and is also supported by Surf Life Saving New Zealand, WaterSafe Auckland, Aquatic Education New Zealand and the Halberg Trust.
It has been developed to give school teachers the necessary skills, knowledge and confidence to deliver a learn to swim, water and beach safety programme that reflects the aquatic requirements of the New Zealand curriculum.
Swimming New Zealand and State Insurance have been helping New Zealand communities for over 100 years, and the State Kiwi Swim Safe programme is a natural partnership where saving lives in the water and building stronger communities continues to be the focus of both organisations.
