Congratulations!!
Congratulations to Jo Davidson who has been appointed to the London Olympics and Ross Bragg who has been appointed to the London Paralympics next year. That will be Ross's 4th Paralympics amongst many other IPC and able bodied events. Ross is currently at the Parapan IPC swimming meet in Mexico. It will be fantastic to have representation in both the pool and on pool deck. Well done Jo and Ross!
Ruling Clarification
The wording on the disqualification form in a medley should be in line with the stroke infraction as per the stroke rules. Reference to rule SW9.3 is not required.
Swimsuits
The Swimming New Zealand Technical Advisory Committee have decided that swimmers have now had a sufficient grace period and from here on in swimmers wearing non-compliant suits will be disqualified. Suits within the FINA guidelines, but without the FINA stamp are still fine to be used.
