High Performance Coach
Applicable to swimmer development stage:
Elite Training period 17+ years
Prior training experience 8 year +/- 18mo.
Pre-requisites
- Performance Coach certification
- SNZ licensed member of NZ SCAT.
Theory component
- To be completed at the SNZ School of Coaching.
- Submit a paper on an approved topic and present the accepted paper at NZ SCAT Conference.
- Following the Conference presentation submit to an oral assessment.
Practical component
- SNZ School of Coaching – organise pool sessions for one day around an approved theme.
- Satisfactorily carry out the Head Coach role at a designated SNZ ‘National team’, ‘Event’, or ‘Age Group’ ca
- Satisfactorily carry out the NZ National team Head Coach role at a designated international competition.
Performance component
Score 15 points over any period of time based on results at major international competition results or record-breaking performances:
