Diploma in Swim Teaching

The Diploma qualification is recommended by Swimming New Zealand as the highest qualification for all professional teachers of swimming in New Zealand. Any person teaching swimming may take this course.  E.g. swim school directors, swim school employees, swim club coaches, school teachers, etc.

The Diploma course by itself will not improve your swim teaching ability.  This you must do for yourself through additional study, practice and experience. The course will have served its purpose if it contributes to your improvement as a swimming teacher and the improvement of teachers who work with you.

For further information, please contact the National Education Manager.
Aims
  1. To give experienced teachers of swimming an identifiable national qualification.
