Leanne Speechley

Leanne is currently the head coach at Aquagym swim club in Christchurch, moving to NZ from Australia where she acted as the head age group coach of Kingscliff Swim Club in NSW and assistant to Olympic Coach Greg Salter for the past 15 years. Leanne holds a Silver Licence from Australia and also has a Bachelors Degree in Sport Science. Leanne has coached numerous Australian Open and Age champions and assisted in creating 5 Olympians in Australia.

Horst Miehe

Horst has been involved in swimming for 31 years, having been a keen swimmer,  Horst entered  coaching roles at Tokoroa, Hamilton and Matamata Swim clubs before progressing to Director of Coaching at the Howick Pakuranga Swimming Club in 1996. Here he coached Rebecca Linton to the 2004 Olympics and acted as the NZSCAT president from 2005-2006. He holds a Masters degree in Social Science with Honours and has been involved in SNZ Coach education since 1997.  

Junior Skills module presenters:

Todd Mason 

Olympic Coach, Todd Mason has been involved in coaching for over 17 years having held head coaching roles at the Napier Aquahawks Swim Club, and Wharenui Swim Club in Christchurch. He has coached numerous swimmers to national age and open titles as well as national records and has put several swimmers on national teams including Annabelle Carey to the 2004 Olympic Games. Todd is the proud owner of Kings Swim School in Christchurch and was awarded a Prime Ministers Scholarship in 2004.
