14th FINA World Championships - Shanghai, CHINA

The 14th FINA World Championships Shanghai 2011 are scheduled for July 16–31, 2011 in Shanghai, China at the Shanghai Oriental Sports Centre. The 2011 Worlds will again feature the 5 aquatics disciplines: swimming, water polo, diving, open water, and synchronized swimming. Portions of these championships will most likely serve as part of the qualifying for the 2012 London Olympics.

We plan to stay up really late tomorrow night to watch Tash swim in the 200m women's relay and Gareth in his 200m back stroke. Wish we were there to cheer you both on but we will yell at the telly instead...
