This event is being run alongside the same dates as our NZ Open Trials in Auckland, so numbers will be lower than previous years.  Trevor Nicholls, our Youth & Age Group Programme Manager will be attending this meet from the 4-6th, April but will then need to be in NZ for the duration of our trials.  All entries for this meet have to come through SNZ as this is an event organised by Swimming Australia.  Everyone will be entered as one team NZL, however all entries need to come individually from each region so we can keep track of all information/fees - see process below.  The information booklet for this meet is now included in the resources below and I recommend you keep an eye on the Swimming Australia website under events/calendar for updates on http://www.swimming.org.au/

If you are considering attending this meet you need to follow the processes below.

• All swimmers will need to complete an accreditation form and send through an electronic photo, if one has not been done in the last 2 years with Swimming Australia - (form is included in the information booklet).
• The TM file will be sent to all regions to check with clubs on who is entering.  All entry information need to be arranged through your club secretary and passed onto your regional contact, who will then send me all c files - proof of times/event entry summary report/fee reports - outlining how many managers packs/car parks etc you need by 10 March 2010 to lisa@swimmingnz.org.nz   Payment will need to be given with the entry summary sheet, and converted from Australian to NZ Dollars.  Entries are in AUD per event, and will need to be converted by the selling rate and sent to SNZ by cheque or into our account below with a name reference:

  Any swimmer attending this meet needs to do the following:

• Everyone attending will need to be listed on the travel declaration form, which has to be signed by your region and then forwarded to us. Marge Hocken our administrator will send onto Swimming Australia and a copy will go to the region too.  If you follow this link, at the bottom of the page is the form with an explanation of the process /competition/standard-forms
• Will be good to get an idea from you on flight details and where you are staying once confirmed, so that I can give this information to the SNZ representative that attends. Please advise this information to lisa@swimmingnz.org.nz with entry information.
