You did damn well in the 5km swim - now really take it to them in the big one. We have been in touch with Nana Shaw,& Gladys and we are all thrilled with your 1st race result. Hope the conditions are right for you in the 10km and show them how good you are.

Hi Alannah,
Great job in the 5km you should be incredibly proud of yourself especially with all your weather delays etc. All the best for the big one - you are awesome. Hope your mum and dad are loving the Italian environment and no doubt enjoying the start of a potentially long international career for you! Enjoy and go hard.

Congratulations Alannah!
What an awesome 5k, I'm so proud of you! To be 29th in the world in your first year of open water is amazing.
Now you've only got a little while to get ready for the 10. We all know you can back it up, this is Alannah's race! I'll be watching!
Best of luck.

Storm home Alannah.
Don't let the hiccup in your programme hassle you. You are sure to create your own storm when the races begin. Remember to be nice before & after the race, but mongrel wins the day when you are racing. We are hoping you get calm water. Enjoy it.
